SOMEWHERE OVER THE RAIMBOW

Good afternoon all. Hope you have had a lovely week. After a couple of sunny days, here is raining. Today I have a card to share using Besties of OZ image 842 from Sherry Baldy.

The Besties have an amazing challenge about the wizard of Oz. Sherri Baldy has some wonderful stamps for the Wizard of Oz theme, a famous story about the Wizard of OZ musical. Dorothy meets all kind of unique characters and she experiences a very fantastic story in the land of Oz. I tried to make the land of Oz, with the scarecrow that she meets.
Just I saw the scarecrow I knew I would work with him. It was difficult to work with him without finally doing a halloween card  and stay to make a card in the Wizard of OZ land.

Finally I was satisfied with this fun card that I tried to recreate OZ LAND.

This story begins on the forest of land of Oz: My sweet scarecrow (who goes in search of the brain that does not have) is at a crossroad trying to resolve a dilemma that cannot solve alone: WHERE TO GO. On one side is the way to the dark forest where they encounter the evil witch. On the other side the road takes him to the emerald castle (I HAVE AN EMERALD CASTLE); Everything happens under my doily full of bright rhinestones pretending to be a rainbow (SOMEWHERE OVER THE RAINBOW.....). Behind the scarecrow can see the embossed brick road he wants to follow. So, yes, I have in my card a Rainbow, Brick Road, Dark Forest, and Emerald Castle with my scarecrow.

The close up of the image, Sherry Baldy´s OZ bestie digi image which is colored with Copic Sketch markers and printed in heavy White Canson Bristol cardstock (365 gm).

COPICS I used:  Straw: YR23,2102,04.    Hair:E15,18 E11,13,15,18.    Eyes: Y21,YR23,24,14 E15.

 Skin: E0000,000,00,11, 04.   Outfit: W1,3,5,7, YR23,24, Y21.  Trousers: E40,41,43,44.    Bow: YR00,04,07,14,24.

 The flowers are a mix from Iam roses,WOC and my stash. The jute ribbon is from Mondial Tissues. Spray beaded cream Gypsophalia is from the Ribbon Girls.

The wooden chipboard is from Arteis. The spikes are natural. The post is made whit trim twine and sticks of the steams.
