Poppies bookmark tag mother´s day

Hi there

In less than 1 hour is the 1st of May. Every first Sunday of May is Mother´s day here where I live.

I made this bookmark-tag for my mum as mother´s day present.

She loves poppies soooooo much and she reads paper books.....yes one of those strange people ;)

My quote reads: "Writen with poppies ink"

I tried coloring facial skin as realistic as possible

What is behind the tag??? this verse that seemed so beautiful to me from Quevedo

Lavinia stamps copic tag

Hello and welcome

Today I´ve got to show you this tag I´ve made with my Lavinia Stamps

(you can vote fot the project you like most....but I will apreciate if you do it for me if you like my project)

This tooks me for long because I´m being masking a lot (also the pixies are masked to finaly get this clear colour on their wings) and I made my background copic airbrushed.

I made this tag for a friend´s birthday to give her something different than she makes and I used one of my (and her´s) favourite colour: shadows of purple and some spring colours too...and is the more sprinnery than some mushrooms?.

Such projects usually are colored with water-based paints but as I most use are markers,I have done with them.

At the end you´ve got a few pictures on diferent steps showing how did I made the background

magical baubles are stamped from Giselle stamp

All arround the tag I stamped one of my lavinia dandelions stamp

My grass is glued island moss.

......and this tag SHINES everywhere you look at:

Lots of winks of stella and glossy accents
I added this little wooden chippie on top

Here as I promised a few pictures on how did I made my airbrushed background

Start masking ALL (little fairy pixies included) the subjects in your scene:

With a circle punch I´ve made 2 circle masks for the moon. Start placing the biggest one

Airbrush with a ligther colour when you removed the biggest this empty area

I´ve added a touch of darker purple utside

and I went to more dark for all the rest in my scene as this is a magical nigth

Unify all around the moon with this magical copic Flourescent colour touch

Remove all the masking and retouch everything with one ligth colour again to unify all the background.

Hola a tod@s

Esta tarjeta la he hecho para mí y con la única finalidad de tenerla a la vista y recordarme que debo sonreir más y estar menos malhumorada.

Los colores amarillos son algo que no suelo utilizar pero lo cierto es que lo vi claro cuando coloreé el digi que sería así.....y el morado que en todas sus variantes es uno de mis colores favoritos; porque los colores de la flor original son así.

Por qué????....bueno pues cuando veo este digi pienso en 2 cosas; una la dice el nombre (Amorphophallus) y la otra una banana....sabía que tenía este bonito adorno de plátano y estuve buscándolo para poderlo coordinar con mis colores de copic y los papeles elegidos.

Punto de libro Oddball bookmark tag

Hola, buenos días

Hoy tengo OTRO punto de libro.

....si, he encontrado víctimas potenciales para mis creaciones, je,je.....lo cierto es que estoy bastante harta de hacer tarjetas que se me acumulan en el trastero y que no les encuentro ninguna utilidad.

Desde que hice este primer formato de puntos de libro, he descubierto que me gusta muchísimo y no puedo parar de hacerlos aunque intento que no sean idénticos, porque eso no mola nada.

....y claro como hoy en día la inmensa mayoría de adultos leemos en aparatos electrónicos, no tiene mucho sentido hacer puntos de libro.....excepto para Los Niños!.....ja,ja,ja.....preparaos niños......llega la tía plasta con artículos para fomentar la lectura.....

Este ha sido para mi sobrino, que hace nada ha cumplido años y como a su hermana le ha caído el librito de turno con el punto de libro. Según su madre, el dibujo excepto porque el niño no tiene gafas es clavadito a mi sobrino cuando tiene que leer; vamos, que le motiva muchísimo la lectura ;)
